Thomas G. Abell, M.D. - (800) 226-8875

You'll Be Evaluated and Counseled
Determining if you are a candidate is the most important element in ensuring you'll have the best outcome. At AbellEyes Laser Center, you will be evaluated by one of the most accomplished LASIK surgeons in the region, Dr. Thomas G. Abell. He has evaluated more than 20,000 patients for laser vision correction and refractive procedures

Your LASIK Exam Will Be Thorough
No corners are cut. The consultation exam takes about an hour and half. During the consultation, we'll perform Allegretto Wave wavefront mapping, autorefraction, corneal topography, pachymetry, pupillometry, tear testing and other diagnostics. These tests tell us about your prescription, the shape and health of your cornea, the thickness of your cornea, the size of your pupils, and aberrations present in your visual system. All are essential in determining if LASIK or another procedure is right for you. No other area facility offers that depth of testing during the initial consultation.

We'll Perform Your LASIK Surgery on the Allegretto Wave Laser
The Allegretto Wave offers the newest generation laser technology combined with FDA approved eye tracker small spot shaping for optimal results. Why would you choose LASIK on anything but the latest and best technology? To see specific data on lasers systems visit www.fda.gov.

The European-designed Allegretto Wave excimer laser system with PerfectPulse Technology, was the first new platform to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in five years. It is also the only laser system that has received concurrent approvals for nearsightedness and farsightedness with astigmatism and clearance for the widest treatment range ever initially granted to a new laser by the federal government.

Since 1985, the Eye Institute and AbellEyes Laser Centers have been dedicated to providing the area with the best technology options for vision correction. From active involvement as clinical investigators and clinic sites for the Food and Drug Administration American LASIK studies, Dr. Abell and his team of professionals continue to set precedents in the world of eye care.
